Hi everyone!

To give you an idea of the Final Project, I created one myself.

Check out the process

This was made in 5 days

Day1

Gather Creative References

I use PureRef to collect inspiration from the net. I look for cool HUD elements.

Day 2: AM

I Created Different Designs of the Base HUD

Using the references, I created my own HUD design

Day 2: PM

I created elements for the Base HUD

I created a tachometer, Progress bars, Caller Placeholder and use the wiggle expression to animate the movement of the dial and bars in every element.

Day 3: PM

Putting it all together

I combine all the HUD elements inside the Base Element. Insert the video and experiment with different effects and presets.

Day 4: AM

Create a simple Title Animation

Using a 3D camera in After Effects, and a Preset called Advance Lightning and a lot of experimentation, I created the Intro to my trailer!

Day 4: PM

I combine the two compositions.

I combine my Title  and my HUD base animated element into one composition.

Day 5: AM

Adding BG Music and adjusting keyframes

The next step is to add a background music. I download a cinematic trailer music on Pixabay.

Draft 2

A combination of the first and second draft of compositions.

At this point, I can refine the video transitions and the timing of the titles. I can also add more titles to better sync with the audio. Additionally, I can edit the project in Adobe Premiere to separate the title animation from the main video with the HUD. Another improvement would be to add a second video with a HUD to create a new scene, helping form a story and adding more dynamic HUD elements to make it more engaging.  The scenes are simple, with minimal effects and no third-party plugins, as I have to consider the limitations of my slow PC. I often have to purge the cache multiple times to avoid crashes and save my work every five minutes to prevent losing any files.
